ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 12th May, 2026) The federal government has assigned additional charge of Director General, Pakistan sports board (PSB), to Secretary Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC) Division, Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, following the repatriation of Muhammad Yasir Pirzada to his parent department, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
According to separate notifications issued by the Establishment Division, Wani, a BS-22 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, will perform the duties of Director General PSB in addition to his existing responsibilities.
The appointment has been made for a period of three months or until the posting of a regular incumbent. The post has been upgraded as personal to him with immediate effect and until further orders.
Meanwhile, Yasir Pirzada, a BS-20 officer of the Inland Revenue Service, has been repatriated to the FBR with immediate effect.
Pirzada had been serving as Director General PSB under the IPC Division on a deputation basis. His repatriation was made following a request conveyed by the IPC Division earlier this year.
