KHANEWAL, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 10th May, 2026) At least five passengers were injured when a bus overturned on Dinpur Road near Makhdoom Pur Road in Khanewal on Sunday.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the passenger bus was travelling from Nidhpur to Lahore when the accident occurred.
Rescue teams rushed to the scene soon after receiving the emergency call and started relief operations.
The injured were identified as 8-year-old Sufyan, Wajid, 25, Hasnain, 30, Zulekha Bibi, 48, and Ayesha, 36.
Rescue officials said four injured passengers were provided first aid at the scene, while one seriously injured person was shifted to Civil Hospital for further treatment.
