FAISALABAD/CHINIOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 9th May, 2026) Federal Minister for Investment board Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh said that historic victory of Marka-e-Haq “Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos” crushed every conspiracy of the enemy aimed at weakening Pakistan while the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its brave armed forces like an iron wall to foil all hostile designs through unity, faith and national solidarity.
Addressing a dignified ceremony organised in Chiniot on completion of one year of the historic victory of Marka-e-Haq on Saturday, he said that the support and blessings of Almighty Allah, unmatched professional capabilities of Pakistan Armed Forces and unwavering determination of the nation had shattered arrogance of the enemy and proved before the world that Pakistan’s defense was invincible.
He said that when war-like conditions emerged, he organized very first rally in support of Pakistan Armed Forces in Chiniot, which reflected the patriotic spirit of the people and their unshakable commitment to national defense.
Qaiser Sheikh said that although certain elements were criticizing Pakistan Armed Forces at that time, yet the nation demonstrated extraordinary unity and sent a clear message to the enemy that the people of Pakistan firmly stood with their military institutions.
Despite India’s defense budget being several times larger than Pakistan’s, the enemy faced failure because Pakistan’s real strength lay in its faith, national unity and professional military expertise, he added.
The minister paid rich tribute to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and said that his visionary and courageous leadership enabled Pakistan Armed Forces to defeat hostile designs and demonstrate to the world that Pakistan possessed the capability to emerge successful in every challenge.
He said that Indian aggression was primarily aimed at weakening Pakistan economically and isolating it diplomatically at the international level, but Pakistan’s successful strategy, military professionalism and effective diplomacy turned the tables on the enemy.
Qaiser Sheikh said that Pakistan earned enhanced respect and recognition globally while the country’s military and political leadership received extraordinary appreciation abroad, which reflected growing international acknowledgment of Pakistan’s principled stance and strategic success.
He said that victory of Marka-e-Haq was not merely a military achievement but a shining symbol of national determination, visionary leadership and exemplary unity between the people and armed forces.
The success of “Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos” had become a living example of courage, sacrifice and patriotism for future generations, he added.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, rich tribute was paid to the martyrs of the homeland while special prayers were offered for Pakistan’s security, stability, prosperity and continued success of Pakistan Armed Forces.
Later, Federal Minister Qaiser Sheikh also led a massive rally from his residence to Peer Bhatta Bazaar and Muslim Bazaar Chowk Farooq-e-Azam.
The participants carrying national flags raised thunderous slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pakistan Armed Forces Paindabad” while traders and citizens warmly welcomed the rally by showering flower petals on the participants on the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq.
