ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 6th May, 2026) The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), under the National Heritage & Culture Division, organized a prestigious, well-coordinated, and patriotic national event titled “National Tribute to Ghazis & Heroes of Marka-e-Haq” at the PNCA.
The ceremony paid profound homage to the martyrs and Ghazis whose unparalleled sacrifices and bravery continue to safeguard the nation.
The event commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by the National Anthem.
A specially produced documentary on Marka-e-Haq was presented, highlighting the courage, professionalism, and extraordinary sacrifices of the nation’s brave sons, evoking deep emotions and a renewed sense of national pride among the audience.
The Chief Guest, Federal Minister for National Heritage & Culture, Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, in his address, paid glowing tribute to the Ghazis and heroes of Marka-e-Haq, acknowledging their exceptional courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment.
He also appreciated the leadership of the Pakistan Armed Forces for their professionalism, resolve, and bravery, stating that their services remain vital for the country’s sovereignty, security, and stability.
Director General PNCA, Muhammad Ayoub Jamali, in his welcome address, warmly received the distinguished guests, artists, and participants.
He emphasized that nations derive strength and continuity from the sacrifices of their martyrs and Ghazis.
He reaffirmed PNCA’s commitment to promoting Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage and organizing meaningful initiatives that strengthen national unity and a positive national narrative.
A special visual presentation was also showcased to honor the martyrs and Ghazis of Marka-e-Haq, which moved the audience, as the hall echoed with spirited chants of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pak Fauj Paindabad.”
The ceremony further featured vibrant cultural performances presented by PNCA, including the widely appreciated “Medley of Pakistan,” which beautifully reflected the country’s cultural diversity and national harmony.
Renowned artists Shaina Ali, Bano Rehmat, Zafar Khan, Akhtar Chanal, and Hadiya Hashmi captivated the audience with their outstanding performances.
