PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 6th May, 2026) A school teacher was shot dead in front of the school gate in Bara tehsil of Khyber District, causing panic and fear among local residents.
According to police report on Wednesday, the incident took place in Jan Khan Kalay, where unidentified assailants opened fire on a computer teacher, Musafir Shah, outside Government High School.
The attackers fled the scene immediately after committing the crime.
Following the incident, a wave of fear spread across the area. Police officials arrived at the scene and have launched an investigation into the killing.
The deceased, Musafir Shah, is reported to belong to the Bar Qambar Khel tribe. His body was shifted to a hospital for legal formalities from where it was handed over to the family.
