SARGODHA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 6th May, 2026) The Special Operations Cell was working under a coordinated strategy to arrest accused persons and bring them to justice, police said on Wednesday.
Officials said that in February 2022,Muhammad Aslam was killed along with his companions near the Hathi Wind area within the jurisdiction of Bhera police station due to prior enmity.
Another individual,Muhammad Imran, sustained serious injuries in the incident and later fled abroad.
During the ongoing crackdown,accused Abdul Wahab who had escaped overseas was arrested with the assistance of other agencies when he attempted to re-enter Pakistan secretly.
Police said the suspect has been presented before the relevant court along with available evidence.
Regional Police Officer (RPO) Muhammad Shahzad Asif Khan has directed authorities to pursue the case to its logical conclusion and ensure justice was served.
