FAISALABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 5th May, 2026) Ameer of Markazi Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith Pakistan and member of National Paigham-e-Amn Committee Allama Syed Ziaullah Shah Bukhari on Tuesday called for inclusion of Marka-e-Haq and Bunyan-um-Marsoos in the national curriculum and said that the historic victory not only enhanced Pakistan’s global stature but also crushed arrogance of the enemy, reflecting unity, strength and resilience of the nation.
Addressing a press conference at Faisalabad Press Club, he said that this remarkable success, achieved under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, was a shining example of national unity, military professionalism and diplomatic foresight that must be passed on to the younger generation.
He said the purpose of the conference was to mark the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, Bunyan-um-Marsoos, observe a day of gratitude, pay tribute to the sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces and further strengthen the message of national cohesion.
Dr Bukhari said that the operation was not merely a military success but a manifestation of divine support and collective national unity, adding that it elevated Pakistan’s military, defense and diplomatic standing at the international level.
He claimed that Pakistan Air Force demonstrated exceptional professional skill and indigenous capability during the conflict, surprising the world and reinforcing the country’s defense self-reliance.
He said that following the success, demand for Pakistan’s defense products and local technology witnessed a significant increase globally, while international recognition of its military capabilities also grew.
Paying tribute to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, he said that the nation was proud of its leadership which, through strategic vision and firm resolve, thwarted hostile designs and inspired unity, courage and perseverance among the people.
He emphasized that Marka-e-Haq should be made part of the national curriculum so that the younger generation could learn about this historic chapter, the sacrifices of the armed forces and the importance of national unity.
Dr Bukhari said that Marka-e-Haq symbolized not only a battlefield success but also ideological awakening, national sovereignty and state stability.
The people of all religions and schools of thought were praying for the success of armed forces and security of the country, reflecting unprecedented unity, he added.
Chairman Ulema Council Pakistan (UCP) Zahid Mahmood Qasmi said that Pakistan had achieved three major successes in recent years including operations against extremist elements, effective diplomatic engagement for global peace and the historic victory of Marka-e-Haq, Bunyan-um-Marsoos.
Speaking on the occasion, Pastor Imran Liaquat Jamal said that the Christian community, along with other minorities, stood shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan’s armed forces, adding that no enemy could harm a united nation.
Other speakers said that the operation had become a symbol of unity, stability and collective strength, vowing not to allow internal discord, sectarianism or external propaganda to succeed.
Later, special prayers were offered for security, success of armed forces, elevation of martyrs’ ranks and national unity.
