RAWALPINDI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 5th May, 2026) Punjab Arts Council Rawalpindi will organize a series of creative competitions to promote fine arts and highlight the talent of youth under special directives of the Punjab Information and Culture Department.
The initiative aims to engage young people in positive and purposeful activities while providing them a platform to showcase their creative abilities.
According to the details, under the theme “Hum Maain, Hum Behnain, Hum Betiyan, Qaumon ki Izzat Hum se Hai,” painting, tableau and speech competitions will be held, open to students from schools, colleges, universities and arts institutions.
Officials said the programme would not only help polish artistic skills but also promote cultural harmony and constructive engagement among youth.
Attractive cash prizes have been announced for top performers.
In the painting competition, Rs. 50,000.0 will be awarded for first position, Rs. 30,000.0 for second and Rs. 20,000.0 for third.
Similarly, in tableau and speech competitions, the first prize will be Rs. 30,000.0 second Rs. 25,000.0 and third Rs. 20,000.0
Students aged between 16 and 30 years will be eligible to participate in the competitions.
According to the schedule, the painting competition will be held on May 14 at 10:00 am, while tableau competitions will take place on May 15 at 9:00 am and speech competitions on May 16 at 9:00 am at Rawalpindi Arts Council.
Participants from across Rawalpindi division will be eligible to take part.
All educational institutions and students have been invited to participate in the initiative to express their talents.
