LODHRAN, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 1st May, 2026) Jahangir Khan Tareen, inaugurated the Tareen Diagnostic Centre, a major step towards improving maternal and child healthcare in the area by providing quality and free diagnostic services to the public.
According to details, Jahangir Khan Tareen inaugurated the Tareen Diagnostic Centre in Chak No. 12 MPR. The center will be operated under the management of the Lodhran Pilot Project (LPP). CEO of Lodhran Pilot Project, Dr. Abdul Saboor, was also present on the occasion.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Jahangir Khan Tareen said that healthcare was the foundation of progress in any society and only a healthy nation can ensure a strong future. He said the Primary objective of this health center was to provide quality, timely and affordable healthcare services to the public at their doorstep.
He added that ensuring healthcare access for people near their homes is their foremost responsibility.
On the occasion, Jahangir Khan Tareen also announced the introduction of additional important diagnostic tests at the centre, digitalization of X-ray services, availability of free medicines and provision of modern medical equipment.
CEO Lodhran Pilot Project Dr. Abdul Saboor said that along with basic healthcare services, the Tareen Diagnostic Centre will offer free ultrasound, X-ray, hemoglobin tests, hepatitis (HBsAg, HCV) screening, ECG, blood sugar tests, malaria tests, pregnancy tests, and complete urine tests.
Furthermore, during 2026, various medical camps will also be organized, including maternal and child health camps, breast screening camps, ENT specialist camps, and cardiac camps.
A workshop for the repair of artificial limbs has also been established at the same center, where repair services will continue regularly.
