FGP CEO Calls For Bridging Gap Between Traditional Labour, Digital Age

ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 1st May, 2026) Reflecting on Pakistan’s evolving economy this Labour Day, Freedom Gate Prosperity (FGP) CEO Muhammad Anwar underscored the urgent need to bridge the gap between traditional labour and the digital age.

In his message, he envisioned a future where the “sweat of the brow” is complemented by the power of technology—ensuring that every citizen, from street vendors to tech professionals, has a fair opportunity to succeed in a modern economy.

He noted that the true spirit of Labour Day lies in empowering individuals to grow without unnecessary barriers.

By adopting digital compliance tools, he said, Pakistan can create a more inclusive environment in which small traders and cottage industries are no longer excluded by the complexities of the formal sector.

Anwar also highlighted the potential of digital ledgers and innovative technological solutions to provide small farmers with greater security and transparency.

He emphasised that bringing Silicon Valley-style innovation to rural areas could ensure that those who feed the nation benefit more equitably from economic growth.

He further remarked that the transition to renewable energy is not only an environmental necessity but also a matter of labour rights, noting that solar power offers an affordable alternative for small businesses.

Concluding his message, Anwar reaffirmed that FGP remains a committed partner to the workforce, dedicated to turning the vision of digital and economic empowerment into a daily reality for all Pakistanis.
