“The great Quaid’s unity, faith, and discipline” echoed across the country as people from all walks of life, including politicians, diplomats, teachers, students, traders, farmers, laborers and intelligentsia had stood for support of Govt and armed forces of Pakistan,” he said.
He said Marka-e-Haq is remembered not only as a strategic and military response to external threats but as a powerful demonstration of national cohesion, resilience, and an enduring commitment to safeguard the country’s dignity and sovereignty against all threats.
Pakistan has defeated the enemy in land, air, sea, as well as technology warfare and proved its superiority in conventional warfare. Multiple Indian warplanes, including highly sophisticated Rafale, were shot down by PAF and our artillery broke the enemy back.
“Pakistan’s response to India’s unprovoked missiles and drone strikes reported on May 06-07 last year was befitting that not only silenced the enemy’s guns but its artillery and warplanes also,” said Brigadier Retd Mehmood Shah, former secretary law and order of erstwhile Fata, while talking to APP.
He said the RSS-backed Hindutva regime tried to terrorize and humiliate the people of Pakistan after India’s RAW was widely believed to have orchestrated the false flag operation at Pehalgam in a bid to defame Islamabad, but it failed completely in its nefarious designs.
After killing Innocent people including women and children and destroying homes of civilian population in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir, he said that fascist Modi Govt has tried to put our nation’s dignity to the test by attacking worship and public places in a bid to hide internal failure and separatist movements in India besides human rights abuses and state terrorism in Indian Illegal Occupied Jummu and Kashmir where hundreds of thousands of Kashmiris were brutally killed in fake encounter and extra judicially.
“The consequences of Marka-e-Haq were seismic. It shifted the balance of power in South Asia, proving that Pakistan could strike decisively and deter aggression across multiple domains,” said Brigadier Mehmood Shah.
He said that Pakistan had refused to bow to any pressure from the enemy and rose in righteous fury in self-defense after its patience and courage forged into unbreakable steel. “On May 8–9, 2025, Pakistan’s machinery of war shifted into motion. Pakistan’s armed forces prepared for a decisive blow, coordinating across land, sea, air, and cyberspace. Plans were drawn, targets marked, and the nation held its breath as the countdown to retribution began.”
He said Marka e Haq showcased civil-military harmony, with the government and armed forces working hand in hand. Even as the eastern front blazed, he said Pakistan also neutralized Indian-backed proxies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, demonstrating its ability to fight on multiple fronts without faltering.
The experts said 10th May 2025 has been etched forever in the nation’s soul. “With thunderous precision, Pakistan started Operation Bunyan um Marsoos, a tri-services blitz that struck like lightning across the breadth of India’s defenses.
In a single unstoppable day, Indian military installations were silenced, air bases at Suratgarh, Sirsa, Srinagar, Jammu, and Pathankot lay crippled, while BrahMos missile sites at Beas and Nagrota were obliterated. Even the vaunted S-400 systems at Adampur and Bhuj were dismantled, stripping India’s shield bare.
