LAHORE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 25th Apr, 2026) Lahore Police have arrested 10,841 declared criminals of A, B categories this year so far.
According to a police spokesperson, 2,285 declared criminals have been arrested in Cantt Division, while 770 declared criminals have been detained in Civil Lines, 2,502 in City Division, 1,522 in Saddar Division, 2,326 in Iqbal Town and 1,436 declared criminals have been detained in Model Town.
CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamiana has said that the arrests of declared criminals are the result of the effective strategy of the police.
The arrests of declared criminals will help in disposing of cases quickly, while criminals are being tracked through modern technology and human intelligence. He has also directed to further expedite the operations to arrest declared criminals.
