FAISALABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 18th Sep, 2026) Two police officers have been dismissed from service over charges of corruption and misuse of authority after they were found guilty during an inquiry.
According to a police spokesperson here on Friday,the dismissed officers were Sub-Inspector (SI) Qamar-ul-Zaman and SI Khuram Sajjad.
The spokesperson said that SP Iqbal Division Saeed Ahmed had assigned the inquiry to DSP Saddar Shahid. During the inquiry,the allegations levelled against the police officers were proved.
Following the findings of the inquiry,legal action was taken against the accused officers, resulting in their dismissal from service.
