The lightning strike damaged a house, killing two sisters after they were trapped under the debris, while three people, including two women, were injured, a report said.
MANSEHRA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 17th Sep, 2026) Two sisters were killed and three people injured when lightning struck a house in the Balakot Valley of Mansehra, police said.
The tragic incident occurred early morning in the Wadi Mah Noor Seriyan area when lightning struck the house.
The building was damaged, and two sisters died after being trapped under the debris, while three people, including two women, were injured.
The injured were pulled from the debris and shifted to a local hospital, where they are receiving medical treatment. Lightning also damaged two other houses in the area.
