The billed amount was reduced from Rs 29,365,976 to Rs 27,194,004, but there has still been no report of the payment being deposited, journalist Syed Imran Shafqat reported.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 17th Sep, 2026) Journalist and analyst Syed Imran Shafqat has made an important revelation regarding the private use of Punjab’s official aircraft, saying that the first official bill for the Punjab chief minister’s use of the aircraft was issued in Maryam Nawaz’s name on 14 September.
The bill totaled Rs 29,365,976.
However, the amount was revised twice on the same day after the bill was issued, and amended letters were formally sent to Maryam Nawaz.
In a post on social media platform X, Syed Imran Shafqat said the amount in the second bill issued after the first was reduced to Rs 28,037,844.
Subsequently, a third bill was issued following another amendment, recording the total cost of the private use of the official aircraft as Rs 27,194,004.
He clarified that despite the repeated reductions and changes to the bill, no confirmation or information has so far been received regarding payment of the amount into the government treasury.
