RAWALPINDI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 16th Sep, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi chaired a meeting to enforce the Prime Minister’s Petrol Relief Program across the district, instructing authorities to ensure smooth distribution of subsidized fuel to eligible commuters, on Wednesday.
The meeting, attended by district officials and local petrol station owners, focused on immediate operational protocols to extend fuel relief to motorcycle riders, auto-rickshaw drivers, and owners of vehicles up to 800cc capacity.
Deputy Commissioner Shirazi directed enforcement officers and fuel station managers to maintain strict transparency throughout the execution process, ensuring that government subsidies reach eligible residents without delay or administrative hurdles.
