LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 16th Sep, 2026) Powers of Civil Judge Class III have been assigned to 39 Civil Judges-cum-Magistrates posted in Lahore. A notification was issued after approval by Lahore High Court Chief Justice Aalia Neelum.
According to the notification, the civil judges have been granted the powers of Civil Judge Class III under the Punjab Civil Courts Ordinance.
The new powers will take effect from the date on which the judges assumed charge of their previous posts.
The judges granted the powers include Muhammad Muzammil Malik, Mustansar Ashraf, Sultan Amin, Urooj Sikandar, Iqra Muqaddas, Muhammad Aun, Saniya Yasmeen, Aqeel Saeed, Muaz Ali, Umm-e-Kulsoom, Basil Fawad Butt, Saba Nawaz, Khurram Majeed, Atif Sattar, Noor Fatima Razaq, Sahir Ali Khan, Safwana Hasan, Fiza Tariq, Hafiza Komal Urooj, Rabia Saif Adil Ashraf, Maryam Shahid, Zainish Karamat, Urooj Ejaz, Muhammad Usman, Ali Ahmad Waris, Sarah Anas, Kausar Taiba Sultan, Javeria Mehboob Elahi, Muhammad Ahsan Raza and Saira Saif, among the 39 civil judges.
The notification stated that the civil judges would exercise their powers in the civil districts and sub-divisions where they have been posted.
