KARACHI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 15th Sep, 2026) Sindh Home and Law Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar on Tuesday said the Pakhtun community was playing an important role in the development, stability and prosperity of the province.
He was talking to a delegation of Pakhtun elders led by MPAs Ejaz Swati and Asif Khan, who called on him in connection with Pakhtun Cultural Day and invited him to attend the event, said a news release.
“Pakhtuns are our brothers,” the Minister said, urging people from all linguistic communities in Sindh to participate collectively in Pakhtun Cultural Day.
He said the cultural day was a beautiful means of promoting Sindh’s cultural traditions, values and spirit of brotherhood.
Lanjar said the rich culture, traditions and hospitality of the Pakhtun community added to the beauty of society.
He congratulated the Pakhtun community on the occasion, saying all ethnic communities living in Sindh were a source of collective strength and added to the province’s cultural diversity.
