LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 16th Sep, 2026) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, on the second day of his Lahore visit, arrived at the residence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Mian Akram Usman, where he held a detailed meeting with his family members and strongly condemned alleged raids and vandalism by police.
According to details, speaking to journalists outside Mian Akram Usman’s residence after meeting his family, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi once again expressed his anger.
Strongly criticizing the actions of the Punjab Police and local administration, he said, “How dare they violate the sanctity of homes in this manner? Such raids are absolutely unacceptable despite the presence of women and children inside the homes.”
Sohail Afridi expressed further astonishment at the conduct of the government and security institutions, saying, “I simply cannot understand why these fake rulers are so afraid of even minor political activities by the opposition, such as political gatherings, processions or rallies.” He said that arrests, cases and police high-handedness could not break the morale of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf workers and leaders, who would continue their constitutional struggle for fundamental constitutional rights and political freedom.
“There is no solution without resistance,” he added.
