DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 15th Sep, 2026) Deputy Commissioner South Waziristan Upper Irfan Ali Khan has underlined the need for taking solid steps to ensure availability of adequate healthcare services for people of the area.
He was chairing a meeting to review the functionality, administrative affairs and healthcare facilities at Mola Khan Sarai (MKS) Hospital.
The meeting was attended by the District Health Officer, Assistant Commissioner Sarwekai and Additional Assistant Commissioner Sarwekai.
The meeting reviewed the hospital’s operational status, availability of medical facilities, administrative matters and various shortcomings affecting healthcare delivery.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the Medical Superintendent of Mola Khan Sarai Hospital to address all deficiencies and administrative issues on a priority basis and ensure the provision of quality and timely medical services to the local population.
He further directed the relevant officials to regularly monitor the hospital’s functioning and ensure the availability of essential healthcare facilities.
The DC said the district administration was committed to improving healthcare services and ensuring timely medical facilities for the people of South Waziristan Upper.
