LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 15th Sep, 2026) A tragic and horrific traffic accident occurred at the T-junction near Cavalry Chowk in Lahore’s densely populated and busiest area, resulting in the on-the-spot death of a foreign national who fell from a motorcycle.
City Traffic Police and rescue teams immediately reached the scene after being informed of the incident.
According to a City Traffic Police spokesperson, the foreign national was riding a motorcycle when an unidentified speeding car coming from behind hit him.
The impact was so severe that the foreign motorcyclist was thrown into the air, crossed the divider in the middle of the road and landed on the opposite side. Unfortunately, another speeding vehicle approaching from the opposite direction also struck him, causing critical injuries that resulted in his death at the scene.
It was reported that, upon receiving news of the incident, Lahore Chief Traffic Officer Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi took immediate notice of the tragic accident and issued emergency orders to prevent the offending driver from fleeing with the vehicle and to trace him.
The Lahore CTO directed DSP Cantt Division Muhammad Ashfaq to immediately trace the vehicle involved in the accident with the help of Punjab Safe Cities Authority cameras and all CCTV footage from the surrounding area.
