Bangladesh and Nepal are one nation and one country, while Pakistan is a federation with no ‘cockroaches’; any minor one that emerges will be crushed, the federal adviser said.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 13th Sep, 2026) Prime Minister’s Adviser and senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Rana Sanaullah has said that they fear neither Imran Khan nor Hulagu Khan, adding that they were not made from the soil of fear.
He said Bangladesh and Nepal are one nation and one country, while Pakistan is a federation with no ‘cockroaches.’
Speaking on analyst Irshad Bhatti’s podcast, he said Bangladesh and Nepal are fundamentally one nation and one country, whereas Pakistan is a strong and proper federation.
He said there are no ‘cockroaches’ in Pakistan and none would emerge from here, adding that if any minor ‘cockroach’ did emerge, it would be crushed firmly.
When analyst Irshad Bhatti told him, “Whatever you are doing today, you will have to face it yourself tomorrow,” Rana Sanaullah replied, “We are neither making anyone face anything at present, nor will we face anything ourselves in the future.
Whatever is happening in the country is all from God, and He is running the system of everything.”
Speaking about Imran Khan, the senior PML-N leader said, “Whether it is Imran Khan or Hulagu Khan, we have no fear or dread of anyone because the soil from which we were made contains no element of fear.” Irshad Bhatti sarcastically responded that if “we” referred only to Rana Sanaullah himself, then it was fine, but looking beyond him raised many questions.
Rana Sanaullah replied that the people ahead were also those who placed complete trust in Allah.
Rana Sanaullah revealed that President Asif Ali Zardari had recommended Mohsin Naqvi’s appointment as Federal interior minister.
He said Zardari was serving as president at the time, and the government wanted to maintain cordial and improved political relations with him. Mohsin Naqvi was therefore appointed interior minister to meet that political need and maintain those relations.
He added that if merit and the system had been followed completely in the country, Mohsin Naqvi would never have reached important positions such as senator, Pakistan cricket board chairman and federal interior minister simultaneously.
