Punjab Assembly members met Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, praising her and her team for beautifying Pakpattan city, and thanking her for establishing Nawaz Sharif Schools of Eminence for Arifwala, including Farooq Ahmad Maneka, Chaudhry Javed Ahmad, Imran Akram and Sardar Mansab Ali Dogar.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 12th Sep, 2026) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif met members of the Provincial Assembly from Pakpattan, during which public issues and needs were discussed.
The meeting was attended by Farooq Ahmad Maneka, Chaudhry Javed Ahmad, Imran Akram and Sardar Mansab Ali Dogar.
The lawmakers presented proposals regarding urban and rural development in Pakpattan.
They thanked the chief minister for launching electric bus services and other development projects in the district, describing the electric bus initiative as a game changer of the decade. They were directed to closely monitor the quality, pace and transparency of ongoing development projects in Pakpattan.
The provincial assembly members paid tribute to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and her team for the beautification of Pakpattan city.
They also expressed gratitude for establishing state-of-the-art Nawaz Sharif Schools of Eminence in Arifwala, Pakpattan.
The lawmakers said the people thanked Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for launching modern electric buses in the land of Baba Farid.
Fifteen environment-friendly electric buses are providing quality transport facilities to the people of Pakpattan. The 15 electric buses are facilitating residents on 3 major routes. Thousands of passengers are benefiting from services running from the General Bus Stand Pakpattan to Arifwala, Banga Hayat and Noor Pur Siyal.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said the development and improvement of every city and village, including Pakpattan, was her mission.
She said she was pleased that Pakpattan, which had been neglected for years, was also moving on the path of development. She added that she was personally monitoring development projects in every city and area and was working day and night to make Punjab a better and ultimately the best province.
