Bitter words were exchanged between Bakht Karam and his son Adnan over a minor issue, after which the suspect allegedly shot his father dead before turning the pistol on himself, police officials said.
SWAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 11th Sep, 2026) A son allegedly shot his father dead following a verbal dispute in Kabal Bazaar in Kabal Tehsil, Swat, before firing at himself and ending his life, according to police.
Police said Bakht Karam and his son Adnan exchanged heated words over a minor issue in Kabal Tehsil.
Adnan allegedly opened fire with a pistol, seriously injuring his father, who later succumbed to his wounds. Shortly after the incident, Adnan also shot himself and died.
Local residents said Adnan was allegedly addicted to drugs. Police have launched a further investigation into the incident.
