ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 10th Sep, 2026) The head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), Maulana Fazlur Rehman, has supported Jamaat-e-Islami’s campaign against the petroleum levy. Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman held telephone conversations with Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that the entire opposition should raise its voice on inflation and public issues. JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said they support Jamaat-e-Islami’s campaign against the petroleum levy.
During his conversation with Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi said Jamaat-e-Islami’s democratic struggle for public issues was commendable and that the Federal government should provide relief to the people on the petroleum levy.
