Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi said Rana Sanaullah claims that PTI wants to bring terrorists, but that they are a peaceful party and people like Rana Sanaullah build such narratives to play games.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 10th Sep, 2026) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi said Rana Sanaullah had alleged that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) wanted to bring terrorists along, but maintained that the PTI was a peaceful party.
He accused people like Rana Sanaullah of creating such a narrative to pursue political designs, adding, “Listen, Rana Sanaullah! If you fire, let the first bullet hit me. If you shoot any worker, I will make your life unbearable.”
Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi made the remarks while addressing parliamentary representatives and ticket holders from Punjab at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House regarding the Punjab Street Movement.
He said the purpose of their gathering was to plan the street movement in Punjab.
He said representatives from all regions of Punjab had one hour to consult and inform him where they wanted him to go.
He added that the street movement would be held wherever they decided, and he would accompany them wherever they took him.
He said all their parliamentarians carried the expectations of the entire country, adding that the issue was not limited to Punjab but concerned all of Pakistan.
He said it was evident that their mandate had been stolen and “Modi’s friends” had been imposed on them.
He said Punjab‘s “fake chief minister” had stated that she faced no threat from India but feared her own provinces.
According to him, she had insulted Pakistan‘s state narrative and disgraced Pakistan before the world. He said this was not the first such incident, claiming that they had done the same through the Dawn Leaks, while this time her statement had been broadcast by Indian media as evidence that the Pakistani state lied and she told the truth.
Chief Minister Sohail Afridi said sustenance, honour, disgrace, life and death were in Allah’s hands and urged people to overcome fear.
Referring to Hazrat Khalid bin Walid, he said that if life had been in a person’s hands, he would never have died in bed.
He said Rana Sanaullah had alleged that the PTI wanted to bring terrorists, but reiterated that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf was a peaceful political party.
He said that during its 126-day sit-in, the party had not even broken a flowerpot, and that the PTI had never carried out any illegal or unconstitutional act from 1996 to date. He said Imran Khan had taught them to struggle while remaining within the bounds of the Constitution and law.
He said they would continue their peaceful political struggle on 27th September, as permitted by the Constitution.
He warned that if these elements tried to repeat an incident like 26th November, “the first bullet should hit Sohail Afridi. If you fire at any worker other than me, I will make your life unbearable.”
He alleged that the PML-N had always regarded Pakistanis as enemies and Indians as friends.
He said Modi had continued visiting their homes without a visa and that they had businesses and friendships in India.
Regarding plans being shown on social media, he said their complete plan would be disclosed one week in advance.
Until then, he said, people could continue making statements and stories, but urged his supporters not to be distracted. He said the complete plan would be shared with them one week beforehand.
He said the people of Punjab were waiting for them, adding that they were not merely a few hundred but 13 crore, and that they were going to change the destiny of 25 crore people.
He urged them to show a little courage and said that on 27th September, people would come out in numbers beyond imagination.
He told supporters not to fear imprisonment, saying that no one among them was more precious than Dr Yasmin Rashid.
He described her as the most valuable, an elderly woman suffering from cancer, and said that if she was serving time in jail, their going to prison would not be a major matter.
