Documents show the woman as a graduate and a Sindh teacher, although she is actually under-matric; someone allegedly collected a salary in her name, while Hamid Mir also shared her video.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 10th Sep, 2026) In an unusual case involving fake appointments and corruption in Sindh government jobs, an under-matric woman was allegedly shown as a Primary teacher through forged documents, while salaries were collected every month in her name and a bank loan worth millions was also obtained and misappropriated.
According to details, prominent journalist and anchorperson Hamid Mir shared a video of the affected woman on social media platform X, exposing alleged collusion between various Sindh government departments and banks.
In his X post, he wrote that official documents showed the woman had been recruited as a teacher in the Sindh education Department after being presented as a BA graduate, whereas she is actually under-matric and did not even know about the appointment.
Hamid Mir said the suspects and corrupt elements within the department not only collected and used the government salary issued in her name, but also fraudulently used her identity to obtain a loan worth millions from a bank before disappearing.
As the bank loan was not repaid and she was named during the department’s investigation, police are now pursuing the woman, forcing her to hide and flee in an attempt to defend herself. He said this was not the work of just one person, but involved a major network and fraud spanning several Sindh departments and banking staff.
