ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 10th Sep, 2026) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held an important meeting with senior police officers to review law and order, counter-terrorism measures, investigation and legal affairs, professional training and service delivery to citizens.
An official told APP on Thursday that the meeting was attended by DIG Law and Order and Training Muhammad Ateeq Tahir, SSP CTD Saud Khan and AIG Legal Tahir Kazim.
The meeting reviewed measures to maintain effective law and order across Islamabad and strengthen action against criminal elements.
The participants also discussed ways to further improve counter-terrorism measures, investigation and legal affairs, besides enhancing the professional training of police officers.
The IGP Rizvi stressed effective policing and better coordination among the relevant wings to ensure timely justice and improved service delivery to citizens.
