PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 10th Sep, 2026) A deeply disturbing incident has been reported in Garhi Mausam Khan, a suburban area of Peshawar, where a landlord, along with his accomplices, allegedly gang-raped the two wives of a tenant.
According to media reports, armed suspects entered the house and tied the minor girl and her father tightly in a room.
The suspects then allegedly mistreated and sexually assaulted both women.
SSP Operations Farhan Khan said police launched action and arrested four key suspects allegedly involved in the incident.
A case has been registered against them under serious provisions, and an investigation has begun. In view of the gravity of the incident and the presence of the minor girl, police also included a provision of the Child Protection Act in the FIR, along with other stringent legal provisions.
SSP Investigation Dr Sami said a special investigation team headed by an SP had been formed to conduct a swift and impartial probe from every angle.
He said all scientific and physical evidence had been collected from the crime scene, while samples had immediately been sent to the Punjab Forensic Science Agency for DNA testing and other investigative reports. He added that all legal requirements would be completed at the earliest to ensure justice for the affected family and secure exemplary punishment for the suspects.
