LAHORE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 10th Sep, 2026) Punjab Inspector General of Police Abdul Kareem on Wednesday took notice of the killing of a couple in firing allegedly over an old enmity in Chak 203-EB, within the limits of Gagoo police station, Vehari.
The IGP sought a report from regional police officer (RPO) Multan and directed district police officer (DPO) Vehari to ensure immediate arrest of the suspects involved in the firing.
Abdul Kareem directed police to utilise all available resources to arrest the accused and bring them to justice.
According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, the deceased were identified as Ali Muhammad and his wife, Surayya Bibi.
