SIALKOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 9th Sep, 2026) Baidarie (a non-governmental organization) Sialkot, in implementation of the NED-supported “Programme for Strengthening of Democratic Local Governance and the Electoral Processes in Sialkot (Punjab), Pakistan: Phase-III,” facilitated the formation of a group of social activists in Kamal Pur village, Tehsil Daska, District Sialkot.
The initiative aims to encourage community participation and strengthen the role of local citizens in democratic governance and community development.
The newly formed group of social activists is expected to play a constructive role in raising awareness among community members, promoting civic engagement and supporting efforts aimed at strengthening local governance and democratic processes at the grassroots level.
