DG KHAN, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 8th Sep, 2026) Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Muhammad Hanif Pitafi on Tuesday stressed the need for ensuring utmost transparency and quality in development projects being executed across the region.
According to a spokesperson, chairing a meeting with the Managing Director of the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) and other officials, the lawmaker emphasized that the provision of clean drinking water and the comprehensive upgradation of the drainage system remain longstanding demands of the public. He warned that no delay or compromise on the quality of construction materials would be tolerated, directing the authorities to expedite work on all ongoing schemes.
Earlier, MD WASA alongside senior officers briefed the lawmaker that work on various development initiatives—including the installation of missing power connections at key disposal stations—was progressing at a fast pace.
The officials assured the MPA that the early completion of these projects would effectively resolve civic grievances and fulfill public expectations regarding sanitation and water supply.
