BATTAGRAM, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 8th Sep, 2026) Battagram Police have traced the Gangwal blind murder case and arrested two alleged suspects here on Tuesday.
The action was taken on the special directives of District Police Officer Battagram Qamar Hayat Khan (PSP) as part of ongoing efforts against serious crimes across the district.
Under the supervision of SSP Investigation Amjad Hussain Khan and the leadership of DSP Allai Munir Khan, a team led by SHO Banna Police Station Sitar Shah and Investigation Officer Zaheer Khan conducted an investigation using modern scientific techniques and technology.
After sustained efforts and professional investigation, police arrested two alleged suspects, identified as Rahim Akbar, son of Rafiq Ullah, and Abdul Akbar, son of Muhammad Akbar, both residents of Gangwal.
Police said further interrogation of the arrested suspects was underway, adding that additional developments in the case were expected as the investigation progresses and evidence is examined.
