US Business Delegation Pays Tribute To Jinnah At Mazar-e-Quaid


KARACHI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 7th Sep, 2026) A high-level business delegation from Houston, Texas, visited Mazar-e-Quaid and paid tribute to Pakistan’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

The delegation was hosted by Mahmood Ahmed Khan, Managing Director of Star Marketing (Pvt) Ltd, and Syed Turab Shah, Convener of the FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Corporate Relations and Communication.

The delegation was led by Dr Mubashir Chaudhry, Chief Executive Officer of USP Corporate. Vice President Pearl Vuobinen, Corporate Compliance Manager Alessandra Lin Mi, and Iqra University Airport Campus Deputy Director Captain (Retd) TI(M) PN Sajid Mahmood were also present.

Floral wreath laid at Jinnah’s mausoleum

Members of the delegation offered Fateha and laid a floral wreath at the mausoleum. They also offered special prayers for Pakistan’s development, prosperity and stability. Dr Mubashir Chaudhry and other members of the delegation paid tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s vision and leadership. They also acknowledged his historic struggle for the creation of Pakistan.

The visitors expressed particular appreciation for Jinnah’s principles and leadership. They said his legacy continues to hold significance for Pakistan and its people.

The delegation also discussed opportunities to strengthen trade and business relations between Pakistan and the United States.

Members stressed the need to create new avenues for cooperation between businesses in both countries. They said stronger commercial ties could open opportunities for investment and partnerships across different sectors. Mahmood Ahmed Khan welcomed the delegation’s visit to the national mausoleum. He said overseas Pakistanis and the international business community could play an important role in Pakistan’s economic development.

He highlighted the potential of overseas Pakistanis to contribute through investment, business partnerships and wider economic cooperation.

The Houston delegation’s visit to Pakistan is aimed at exploring business relationships, mutual cooperation and commercial opportunities in different sectors.

The delegation also showed interest in Pakistan’s historical and national heritage.

The visitors said they hoped to contribute positively to efforts aimed at strengthening economic and commercial relations between Pakistan and the United States.

The visit concluded with a renewed emphasis on business cooperation, investment opportunities and stronger ties between the two countries.
