RAWALPINDI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 6th Sep, 2026) A dignified rally was organized by the Murree district administration to pay tribute to the unforgettable sacrifices of the martyrs of the 1965 war and express solidarity with the Pak Army.
The rally was led by Assistant Commissioner (AC) Murree Captain (Retd) Arshad Iqbal and DSP Murree.
Officers from various government departments, office-bearers of the traders’ association, representatives of civil society and a large number of local residents participated in the event.
The participants carried national flags and banners bearing messages of love for Pakistan and reverence for the martyrs. They also offered special prayers for the security, prosperity and stability of the country.
“The participants also reaffirmed their resolve to always stand shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces in safeguarding the country and its sovereignty.”
