SIALKOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 4th Sep, 2026) Additional Deputy Commissioner Municipal Services Mian Sarmad Hussain distributed offer letters to 17 agriculture graduates selected under the Chief Minister Punjab Agriculture Graduate Internship Programme here on Friday.
According to a spokesperson, Deputy Director Agriculture Extension Sajjad Haider was also present.
He said the interns would receive a monthly stipend of Rs70,000 and be deployed in 36 agricultural circles across the district to provide farmers with modern farming guidance and technical support.
Mian Sarmad Hussain said that the programme would help connect agriculture graduates with practical fieldwork while providing farmers with modern techniques to improve crop production.
