QUETTA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 2nd Sep, 2026) Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq held important meetings related to the latest political situation of the province, parliamentary affairs and mutual cooperation during his one-day visit to Quetta on Wednesday.
The aim of the visit was to further strengthen ties with the political leadership and parliamentarians of Balochistan and discuss the issues and priorities of the province.
Upon his arrival in Quetta, Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Member National Assembly Jamal Shah Kakar, provincial ministers and members of the provincial assembly welcomed the Speaker National Assembly.
On this occasion, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq had a one-on-one meeting with Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel.
The meeting discussed the overall political situation of Balochistan, parliamentary matters and various issues facing the province in detail, while the Governor of Balochistan apprised him of the latest political situation of the province and public issues.
During his visit to Quetta, the Speaker of the National Assembly also met with parliamentarians, political leaders, senior office bearers and workers of the Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N ) at the Governor House.
On this occasion, the party office bearers and workers asked questions related to various issues, to which Sardar Ayaz Sadiq gave detailed answers and expressed his views on parliamentary and political matters.
Earlier, during his visit, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq expressed his condolences and solidarity in the Speaker Chamber of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly on the death of Sanaullah Achakzai, the young son of Balochistan Assembly Speaker Captain (r) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai.
He expressed his heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for the elevation of the deceased and patience for the bereaved family.
Later, the Speaker of the National Assembly also visited the residence of Provincial Minister for education Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani, where he expressed his condolences and sorrow over the death of her mother.
He prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased and for the family to be granted patience and fortitude.
The Speaker of the National Assembly’s visit to Quetta reflects his determination to further strengthen the ties between the political and parliamentary leadership and highlight the issues of Balochistan at the national level.
