ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 2nd Sep, 2026) Pakistani martial artist Irfan Mehsood has set yet another Guinness World Record as he broke the previous record of 30 punches by completing 38 full-extension punches in one minute with 10kg weights.
According to Mehsood, previously, the benchmark to beat stood at 30 punches. With this latest feat, Irfan Mehsood has now set the highest number of world records at the global level in the push-ups category 70 records in total.
To date, I hold the most world records across multiple weighted categories, including 100-pound, 80-pound, 60-pound, and 40-pound divisions, he claimed.
He said his records also spans a wide range of fitness disciplines, including push-ups, squats, jumping jacks, step-ups, knee strikes, elbow strikes, side jumps, high jumps, and star jumps, among others.
Mehsood also holds the highest number of Guinness World Records in strength-based categories worldwide.
So far, he has broken world records previously held by athletes from 20 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, India, China, Norway, Germany, France, Finland, Philippines, Spain, Italy, Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, Pakistan, and Syria, he said.
In addition to his own achievements, 20 of Irfan Mehsood’s students have also gone on to set Guinness World Records.
