CHINIOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 30th Aug, 2026) The central spokesperson of the International Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Movement has announced a series of conferences, seminars, intellectual sessions and youth training workshops across the country during September, with September 1 to 10 being observed as the Ashra of Khatm-e-Nabuwwat. The spokesperson said a central gathering would be held at the Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Centre in Chenab Nagar on September 7, observed as the Day of Khatm-e-Nabuwwat, and urged media organizations to arrange special programmes on the occasion.
In a statement issued to the media, on Sunday, the spokesperson said September 7, 1974, was a significant chapter in Pakistan’s constitutional history when Parliament passed a constitutional amendment declaring Ahmadis a non-Muslim minority. He described the decision as an important milestone in the long academic, religious and constitutional efforts concerning the belief in the finality of Prophethood.
He said the occasion would also be used to pay tribute to religious scholars, leaders, workers and others associated with the Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Movement for their contributions over different periods.
The spokesperson appealed to newspapers, magazines, television channels and digital media platforms to publish special editions and features and broadcast documentaries, discussions, interviews and other programmes highlighting the historical and constitutional significance of September 7, 1974.
The spokesperson said the conferences, seminars, awareness programmes and training workshops planned across the country would promote academic and public awareness about the subject. He expressed the hope that the activities would help the younger generation understand the historical background, religious perspectives and constitutional developments associated with Khatm-e-Nabuwwat and strengthen their awareness of the country’s religious and constitutional history.
