Owais Cotton Waste Factory situated in Punjab Small Industries Estate on Daewoo Road due to short-circuiting.
As a result, the fire engulfed the entire surroundings of the factory and burnt huge material spreading over 10 marla area.
Receiving information, fire fighters of Rescue 1122 rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control after hectic efforts. However, no loss of life was reported in this incident, he added.
