SARGODHA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 28th Aug, 2026) The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Sargodha has arrested a revenue department patwari in a case involving alleged tampering with an inheritance transfer and depriving a citizen of valuable property, officials said.
According to officials, Shahid Hassan, a resident of Mouza Dravi, Noorpur Thal, Khushab, filed a complaint alleging that revenue officials, in collusion with private individuals, had altered an inheritance transfer to deprive him of his property.
Regional Director ACE Sargodha Mudassar Hanif Bhatti ordered an inquiry into the allegations.
After evidence surfaced against the accused, a case (No. 5/2026) was registered at the Anti-Corruption Police Station, Khushab.
Circle Officer ACE Khushab Muhammad Azhar Javed Bajwa was assigned the investigation. During the probe, the investigation team arrested Umar Farooq, a patwari in the Revenue Department, and initiated further investigation.
The ACE Sargodha said action against corrupt elements was being intensified and arrests were being made regularly.
