FAISALABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 27th Aug, 2026) In connection with the “Back to School Campaign-2026”, a ceremony with theme “If you study, you will progress” was held under the aegis of the district education authority here on Thursday.
The ceremony was held at Government MC Higher Secondary School, Allama Iqbal Road (Kotwali Road) with Additional Deputy Commissioner Mudassar Mumtaz Haral as the special guest.
The ceremony was attended by Chief Executive Officer Education, District Education Authority Rao Abdul Karim, District Education Officers Muhammad Waseem Sajid, Muhammad Zakir, Dr. Azra Nasreen Syed, Deputy District Education Officers, Assistant Education Officers, school heads and teachers in large numbers.
During the ceremony, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mudassar Mumtaz Haral and Chief Executive Officer Education Rao Abdul Karim along with other dignitaries completed the formal admission process of the students while school bags and essential stationery were also distributed among the students.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner said that the Punjab government is committed to further improving the quality of education and ensuring access to quality education to every child.
He said that education is a fundamental right of every child, so parents should get their children enrolled in government schools.
In his address, the CEO Education, while mentioning his personal experience of studying in a government school, said that teachers and parents have played an important role in his success.
He said that government schools are striving to provide quality and equal educational opportunities to every child.
Rao Abdul Karim, while emphasizing the need for collective efforts to make the “Back to School Campaign 2026” successful said that all effective media, including electronic and print media, should be fully utilized to convey the message of the admission campaign to as many parents and the public as possible.
Later, a commitment was expressed to play a collective role in promoting education, increasing student enrollment in government schools, making the “Back to School Campaign 2026” successful and achieving the set admission targets.
