QUETTA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd Aug, 2026) Vice Chairman of the Balochistan board of Investment, Bilal Khan Kakar, has said that the youth of Balochistan possess immense talent and potential, and must channel their abilities in a constructive manner to contribute to the province’s and the country’s progress. He emphasized that the future of Balochistan lies in the hands of its young generation.
Speaking as chief guest at the closing ceremony of the Balochistan Model United Nations (BMUN) 2026, Bilal Kakar highlighted that Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has a clear vision for youth empowerment, with the provincial government committed to providing opportunities in education, skills development, and leadership. He stressed that equipping young people with modern education and practical experience is essential to prepare them for future challenges.
Bilal Kakar praised BMUN for offering students a platform to showcase their leadership, research, and communication skills. Over the three-day conference, students actively participated in sessions, debates, negotiations, and dialogues, demonstrating their capabilities.
On the occasion, Balochistan’s Secretary of Education Lal Jan Jaffar also addressed the gathering, underscoring the importance of dialogue and debate among students in today’s era. He said such activities are vital for the intellectual and academic growth of youth. Jaffar added that BMUN participants had proven their ability to shoulder future responsibilities, making the event a commendable initiative for fostering education and constructive discourse.
The three-day conference aimed to familiarize students with global affairs, policy-making, negotiations, and decision-making processes, while nurturing their leadership qualities. At the conclusion, certificates and awards were distributed among students who demonstrated outstanding performance.
Speakers congratulated the BMUN organizers for successfully hosting the event and expressed hope that such educational and intellectual programs would continue to provide Balochistan’s youth with opportunities to express their talents and prepare for future leadership roles.
