LAHORE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd Aug, 2026) Training of volunteers assigned security duties for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrations is underway at District Police Lines, Qila Gujjar Singh.
A special training session was organized for the volunteers under the supervision of SP Headquarters Muhammad Khalid Saeed, with DSP Headquarters Babar Shaukat, Line Officer Ehsan-ul-Haq and other police officers in attendance.
Speaking on the occasion, SP Muhammad Khalid Saeed said the volunteers were being trained in the proper procedure for checking participants with metal detectors and walk-through gates. They were also being briefed on effectively performing their security duties during the Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrations.
He said phased, division-wise training was being imparted to the volunteers to ensure more effective security arrangements during the Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrations.
