ATTOCK, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 14th Aug, 2026) At least four people, including two brothers, were killed in different incidents in various parts of Attock, police and hospital sources said on Friday.
In the first incident, two brothers were gunned down in a target killing in village Malhoo, within the limits of Rango Police Station in Hazro town.
Sources said that Abdul Shakoor and his brother Atif Khan were going on their jeep when two persons riding a motorcycle intercepted them and opened fire.
They received multiple bullet wounds and died on the spot. The deceased belonged to Nizampur and were associated with the gold placer mining business.
A few days ago, they had addressed the media and revealed differences with local miners, expressing concerns over their safety and security.
Meanwhile, a teenage boy died of a snake bite in village Daman, Hazro. Sources said that Nisar Mehmood was at his house when a snake bit him.
He was taken to the tehsil headquarters hospital, but according to family members, due to unavailability of anti-snake venom, he died on his way to Rawalpindi.
The deceased was the only brother of two sisters.In a separate incident, a 12-year-old boy died of gunshot wounds in the jurisdiction of Fatehjang Police Station.
Police sources said that Muhammad Azan, who was deaf and mute, was shot and injured and later succumbed to his injuries.
Police have registered separate cases regarding the incidents and launched further investigations into the killings.
