PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 11th Aug, 2026) Representatives of various minority communities on Tuesday visited the Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) North headquarters at historic Bala Hisar Fort on National Minorities Day and held a meeting with Inspector General FC, KP North Major General Rao Imran Sartaj.
The delegation paid tribute to the martyrs by laying flowers at the Martyrs’ Memorial and offering prayers, said a press release issued here.
The visitors later toured the Bala Hisar Museum, where they were briefed on the history, traditions and heritage of the Frontier Corps (FC).
Speaking to the delegation, Major General Rao Imran Sartaj highlighted the important role played by minority communities in Pakistan’s progress and national development.
He said their contributions were valued and appreciated and conveyed his best wishes to members of the minority communities.
The visit also featured a cake-cutting ceremony, followed by prayers for the country’s peace, security, stability and prosperity.
