ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 11th Aug, 2026) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi on Tuesday held a meeting with DG Safe City/DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joiya to discuss measures for strengthening technology-driven policing, Safe City monitoring and improving police services for citizens.
An ICT Police spokesperson told APP that the meeting focused on the effective use of modern technology to further enhance surveillance and monitoring capabilities across the Federal capital.
The two senior officers also discussed measures to strengthen the Safe City monitoring system and utilise technological resources more effectively for policing and public safety.
The meeting reviewed ways to improve the delivery of police services to citizens through modern and technology-based solutions, with emphasis on making policing more efficient and responsive.
IGP Rizvi stressed the effective utilisation of available technological resources to strengthen security monitoring and provide citizens with improved police services across Islamabad.
