LAHORE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 10th Aug, 2026) Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) on Monday conducted written exams for various posts including Assistant Director, Chief Officer, Audit Officer and Sub Engineer, in which more than 34000 candidates from across the province participated.
According to PPSC, written exams of candidates were conducted in various examination centers established in 7 divisions of Punjab including Lahore and Rawalpindi. Special arrangements were made to ensure the convenience and transparency of the candidates during the exams.
Chairman Punjab Public Service Commission Lt. Gen. (retd) Muhammad Abdul Aziz visited various examination centers across the province and reviewed the arrangements for the examinations in detail. He inspected the desk set up for biometric verification, entry of candidates and other arrangements made in the examination centers.
On this occasion, the Chairman PPSC had a detailed discussion with the candidates present at the examination centers and also gave suggestions and feedback to them.
The candidates appreciated the merit and transparency-based examination system of the Punjab Public Service Commission. Members of PPSC also visited the examination centers set up in different cities.
PPSC members including Mirza Sohail Aamir and Khalid Saleem inspected the examination centers in Rawalpindi, Aamir Yasin in Lahore, and Ahmed Ali Kamboh in Faisalabad. Similarly, member Muhammad Siddique Sheikh visited the examination centers in Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan and reviewed the arrangements.
