HYDERABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 7th Aug, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad, Abdul Samad Nizamani, took notice of media reports regarding the park established at Gujra Wah Canal and visited the site along with Mayor Municipal Corporation, Qazi Muhammad Rashid Bhatti.
During visit, he reviewed the situation in detail. On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner was briefed by concerned officials about current condition of the park, ongoing development work, and future plans.
He directed that construction and rehabilitation work should be initiated at the earliest to provide better recreational facilities to public, ensuring a clean, safe, and quality environment.
DC said that the park has now been officially handed over to Municipal Corporation, which will be responsible for its construction, maintenance, and administration.
He expressed hope that Municipal Corporation will equip the park with modern facilities and develop it into an ideal recreational spot for citizens.
Mayor assured that rehabilitation and development work would be started on priority basis and the park would soon be fully operational for public use. Relevant officials were also present during the visit.
