DG KHAN, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 5th Aug, 2026) The Board of Intermediate and Secondary education (BISE), Dera Ghazi Khan, on Wednesday announced the position holders of the Matric Annual Examination 2026, with Abdullah Saleem of Layyah secured the overall first position by scoring 1,191 marks.
The Names of the top achievers were announced by Chairman BISE DG Khan, Professor Dr. Abdul Rauf, during a ceremony attended by Board Secretary Abdul Rehman Chaudhry, Controller of Examinations Professor Muzaffar Hussain, and other officials. The chairman congratulated the successful students and their parents on their outstanding performance.
Board officials said the complete Matric Annual Examination 2026 results would be officially announced on August 6.
According to the board, Meer Mujtaba from Taunsa Sharif secured the overall second position with 1,190 marks, while Farwah Ahmed of Muzaffargarh, Meerab Zahra of Layyah, and Syed Muhammad Joon Abbas Naqvi of Layyah shared the overall third position with 1,189 marks each.
In the Science Group (Girls), Farwah Ahmed and Meerab Zahra jointly secured first position with 1,189 marks.
Ayesha Aiman and Shawal Ejaz shared the second position with 1,188 marks, while Amaima Abbas of Government Girls High school, Layyah, and Kashaf Saeed of Taunsa Sharif jointly claimed third position with 1,187 marks.
In the General Group (Boys), Muhammad Safdar of Rajanpur topped with 1,136 marks, followed by Habib Ahmed of Centre of Excellence Boys, Rojhan, with 1,118 marks, while Muhammad Sohaib of Layyah secured third position with 1,073 marks.
In the General Group (Girls), Aiman Farooq of Centre of Excellence Girls, Muzaffargarh, obtained first position with 1,134 marks, Ajwa Nasir stood second with 1,129 marks, and Sawera Fida Hussain secured third position with 1,128 marks.
The board further stated that female students won nine positions, while male students secured six positions. Among the position holders, eight students belonged to government educational institutions, five to private schools, and two were private candidates.
